Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

By creating a TagEasy account or using the TagEasy service ("the Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you don't agree, don't use the Service.

2. The service

TagEasy provides a hosted tool for configuring Google Tag Manager containers, connecting Google Analytics 4 properties, generating tracking code for your websites, and monitoring event health. The Service is provided as-is.

3. Your account

  • You're responsible for keeping your password and any API tokens secure.
  • You're responsible for activity that happens under your account.
  • You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service to track users without proper consent under applicable law.
  • Use the Service to send spam, malware, or any unlawful content.
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or overload the Service.
  • Use the Service in a way that violates Google's terms for GTM or GA4.

5. Subscriptions and billing

Paid plans are billed in advance through Stripe. You can change or cancel your plan at any time from Settings → Billing. Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period; no partial refunds.

6. Data ownership

You own the tracking configurations, event definitions, and other content you create in the Service. You grant us a limited license to host and process that content to provide the Service to you.

7. Privacy

Our handling of personal data is described in the Privacy Policy.

8. Termination

You may close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or that pose a security risk to the Service.

9. Disclaimer of warranties

The Service is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We don't guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that it will meet every regulatory requirement that applies to your business.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, TagEasy is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenue arising out of or relating to your use of the Service.

11. Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced via email or in-product notice at least 30 days before they take effect.
